3yr Old "Peanut"
He has is truly a joy to own and has been since the moment he hit the ground. Born in our back pocket he likes his humans just as much as the rest of the herd. Dan and Jordyn started him under the tutelage of Terri & Matney Cook from TLC Horsemanship last summer. He has been off since then allowing his frame to grow up a bit. This pony moves just like his uncle multi Champion Evan's Providence of the Night. Peanuts dam New York is a 3/4 sister to Providence. He will make a supurb dressage or hunter pony for some lucky child...

Peanut Goes to School
Our Son Danial started Peanut a year and a half ago under the guidance of Terri & Matney Cook with TLC Horsemanship in Arlington, Washington. Dan at 6'3" though was a bit large for a young pony not yet done growing. So after a solid beginning Peanut was parked in the pasture to finish growing.

Peanut matured beautifully over the past year and this summer was ready to hit the books and learn all the skills necessary to make some lucky child a wonderful mount and friend. He is currently in training with Kali & Les at Pony Pros in Bend, Oregon and being handled by student "Maddie" who is doing a marvelous job while learning the ropes herself. Kali and Les have repeated groundwork lessons to give him a solid start under their program. Feel free to check back and watch his and Maddie progress through the Pony Pro program. The following pictures are compliments of Pony Pro's.

Learning to be safe with each other

First mount with a watchful Kali... He looks pretty concerned doesn't he? Kali always has the first mount go from flat to all fours. She feels that the all fours stance of a rider on the ponies back mimics that of a predator and when the pony becomes calm under those circumstances it is much less disturbing to sit up in a riders stance. Bravo Peanut and Maddie!
