February -
Reaching out to trainers to determine the best course for Whispering Marquis to continue his education. I'd really like to see him do some more in hand and work over fences, before retiring to the breeding shed.

January - It's time to consider this years breeding crosses. There are so many wonderful stallions to choose from, although I am still strongly leaning towards using Cllynncopa Pandy Tudor and Mynach Mystical. I really think those two boys compliment and enhance my Bristol Shadow Dancing bred herd matriarch Angel and her *Hilin Peredur daughter Princess.

2011

November/December - We've started completing the paperwork necessary to resolve a forthcoming lawsuit over a very unfortunate situation.  Lawsuits are never fun and this one is sure to be ugly and costly to all parties involved.

October - Whispering Marquis has returned home from a year long training hiatus with Annie Beamer of Unbridled Oaks in Reardon, WA. We are sooo excited to have "Red" back on the farm. We have missed his sweet self. Thank you to Annie for doing another fabulous job with a Thornehill pony.

August - Vanity's Bold Love returned home. We are relieved to have "Princess" back home, safe and sound after the harrowing experience she had. Some qaulity veterinary care and lots of TLC should have her healthy again in no time. She has been pasture exposed to Clynncopa Pandy Tudor a truly lovely stallion.

January  - My Christmas present came home today! Taylor and I made the long haul to Wisconsin to pick up "Garlind Ridge Caisleán na Blarnan" (Blarney Castle in Gaelic). I've wanted a collie all my life! His big sister Bully "Vegas Showgirl" is named after our favorite place to vacation in the states, so it seemed fitting that we christened him after another of our favorite places.

October - Vanity's Bold Love was loaned to Ridgemount Welsh Ponies. She is to return bred to the beautiful Cllynncopa Pandy Tudor a lovely imported palomino Section B welsh by Stoak Tudor out of Pennwood Panama. We are very excited to see this cross! Ridgemount Welsh Ponies will be re-homing Whispering Archangel. He has not developed the conformation necessary to be used as a herd sire. Therefore he will be placed as a companion/pet after training.

June - Angelica Fairacres foaled a STUNNING smokey black filly at Mt. Dragon Pony Acres by Hidden Springs Tiger Moth, that we have christened Vanity's Touch of Romance. Tiger Moth, a gorgeous cremello  is owned by Dianne Randolph of Hidden Springs Farm in South Carolina. Tiger Moth is by Doll House Mocha Latte out of Seven Hills April Fools. This filly is spectacular. Angel was rebred for a 2011 foal to Evans Demphir. Demphir is by the incomparable *Wedderlie Maradonna and out of Evan's Bram Stoker dam of multi Champions Evan's Providence of the Night & Evans Marianna.

May - In his first showing with Annie Beamer of Unbridled Oaks, Whispering Marquis returned home a multi Grand Champion in hand. Well done! We look forward to Annie and "Emilio" in the show ring in 2011.

February - Whispering Marquis is now standing at Unbridled Oaks in Reardon, Washington. He will be shown and at stud with Annie Beamer exclusively for the next couple of years, while we rebuild our facilities in Michigan.
